How to read the results

Monthly price indicates what the carrier charges monthly for the amount and term you selected at the health level you picked. Rate class describes the underwriting tier the quote assumes; the insurer will verify this tier during evaluation. Exam status shows whether the company expects a medical exam, or whether it uses accelerated processes for eligible applicants. Financial rating reflects the carrier's credit strength.
